Not using Live Check-In?

Last updated on 12 Feb, 2026

Live Check-In is a great way to keep track of the attendance at your in-person or hybrid event. But you can still view and manually record and update attendance without Live Check-In. In addition, the Express Self Check-In tool can be used to help track virtual attendance for virtual and hybrid events.

For in-person and hybrid events and for virtual events created before the new virtual/hybrid/in-person event types were released, you'll be able to access attendance/check-in data after your event is over. For events created with the new virtual event type, the check-in data will be available at any time, not just after the event. Either way, here's how to view and edit the attendance/check-in data for your event:

  1. Click the Live Check-In icon in the left toolbar to view guests.

  2. To edit the attendance record, check off the names of people who attended.

  3. Click Save when you are finished editing.

You can also view a report of those who attended/checked in:

  1. Go to Reports & Exports > Custom Report Builder. NOT PUBLISHED: [The Total Attendance bar toward the top of the page takes into account attendance data from Live Check-In (if used) as well as people who checked in with the Express Self Check-In tool. Both types of guests who attended/checked in should have check marks beside their names.]

  2. Change the search filters at the top of the page to "Registration Status is Attended" and click the Apply Filters button.

  3. Or, to include the Registration Status field in the report, click the Change Columns link on the right, check the box for the Registration Status field, and click Apply Changes at the bottom of the page.

After your event, to email registrants who attended/checked-in, go to the Send Email tool and choose Guests Who Attended in the To dropdown field.
