Registering People to Your Event

Add guests or hosts in Attendance or Liaisons, Participants, or Sponsors in Peer-to-Peer.

Use the Register Person icon  in the lower left part of the Event Tools menu to add anyone to your event.

When you click Register Person, a window will open to let you choose the registration type: Host and Guest in Attendance; Liaison (if enabled), Participant, and Sponsor (Donor) in Peer-to-Peer. The window allows you to register members without navigating away from your current view.

If your registration form has the email address field required, you can use noemail@fundeasy.com to skip the field without saving a fake or dummy email to your registrant's profile.

 

Skip Payment

To skip payment for your registration types that require payment, check the Skip Payment box on the bottom of the registration form popup inside FundEasy. This is only visible on the admin side. The public does not see the Skip Payment box. Skipping payment will still require that you choose a payment method.

Use Express Person Lookup to find profile information for your Guests, Hosts, and Peer-to-Peer Participants.

  1. Fill in the First Name and/or Last Name in the Express Person Lookup box and click Lookup. A fuzzy search works best, like "Ma Smi" for "Mary Smith"

  2. Using the popup search window, click on the name of the person to autofill the form.

  3. The Registration Form will be automatically filled in with the information from that person's profile.

  4. If any information is incorrect, editing it on the Registration Form will update the profile when you complete their registration. 

  5. Express Person Lookup is not available for Liaisons or Sponsors.

  6. For security reasons, Express Person Lookup is not available to the public.

Restoring Registration for someone who has been cancelled

  1. Under All Registrants, click on the Cancelled link.

  2. Click the chevron [v] button next to the guest’s name.

  1. Click the Restore Registration option.

  2. A popup will appear to confirm you want to restore their registration and return them to the group or team they were in when they were cancelled.

Keeping your cancelled members gives you a record of the people who had planned to attend but had to cancel. Following up with them after the event is another chance for a donation ask. 

To permanently delete registrations in Cancelled:

  1. Click the chevron [v] button to delete a single member.

  2. Or check the members you want to delete and click the Bulk Actions link at the top of the list.

  3. Choose Delete Registration(s).

  4. Confirm in the popup that you understand that data will be deleted.

  5. Click Delete Registration.
