Groups/Teams in Manage Registrants can be kept together in folders to keep specific Groups/Teams together. For example, if you'd like to keep Groups from a church or company together, you can put them in a folder.
Creating an Empty Folder
Click the chevron [v] button at the top of the Groups/Teams list.
Note: In hybrid events, you can click the chevron [v] above the In-Person Groups/Teams or the chevron [v] above the Virtual Groups/Teams to create folders in those sections.
Or click the Add link at the bottom of the Groups/Teams list.
Choose New Folder to create an empty new folder.
Name your folder.
Click Save.
Creating a Folder with Selected Groups
Select the groups to add to the folder from the Groups/Teams list so they will be in the center of the page.
Click the chevron [v] button at the top of the Groups/Teams list. Or click the Add link at the bottom of the Groups/Teams list.
Choose New Folder with Group Selection.
Name your folder
Click Save
Note: In a hybrid event, if you select an in-person Group/Team and a virtual Group/Team and choose to create a new folder with that group selection, the folder will be created in the In-Person Groups section and the virtual Group/Team will become an in-person Group/Team. Editing that Group/Team to make it a virtual Group/Team again will move it out of the new folder and into the Virtual Groups/Teams section again.
Adding Groups to Folders
From the Options link in the top right corner of a Group/Team, choose Edit Group/Team.
Select Destination Folder.
Click Save.
Adding Folders to Folders (Nesting Folders)
You can nest folders inside of other folders.
While creating a folder, check the box to nest the folder.
Select the destination folder.
Click save.
You can also nest folders after they have been created.
Click the chevron [v] to the right of the folder in the Groups/Teams list.
Select Edit Folder.
Check the box to nest the folder.
Choose Destination Folder.
Click Save.
Deleting Folders
To delete a folder, click the chevron [v] to the right of the folder name.
Click delete.
Contents are not deleted with their folder. Instead the contents will move up one level. Groups will be moved out of the folder, and nested folders will become folders.
