Groups and Teams in your event can be edited in several ways. To get started, go to Manage Registrants and then click the name of the group/team in the Groups/Teams menu to open the group/team.

Open the Options menu in the right corner of the group/team to access the Group/Team Tools.

Register Person. Add a person to this group/team. This will open the admin registration form in a modal.

Click Edit Group/Team for these options:

  • Change the name of the group/team in the text box. Editing the name of the group/team here also changes how it is listed in the Group Host List field or My Team field on the Registration Form. *Quick Tip: you can also double-click the name of the group/team to edit the name of the group/team.
  • Make a group/team private to hide it on the Registration Form.
  • If you are using folders in your event, there will be a dropdown to choose the folder.
  • Group Limits show on the bottom of each group/team. To change or limit the number of members who can join a group/team, click Options > Edit Group/Team. 
    • Enter the limit for the group/team.
      • Note: In Attendance, Group limits are not the same as the number of seats at your table.  You may have hosts who can fill more than one table. Ideally, you should only set group limits if your venue size is limited or if sponsors or hosts are paying for a set number of seats
    • Choose what will happen if the limit was reached.
      • Hide the field on the registration form
      • Show the word (FULL) next to the option. In a pulldown, this will disable that option.
      • Display the amount remaining on the registration form. (Not available for radio (multiple choice) buttons.)
      • Apply the limit to all groups/teams.
      • Remove the limit from all groups/teams.
  • In hybrid events created with the new hybrid event type, you can choose to make the group/team a Virtual Group/Team, which will put it in the Virtual Groups/Teams section on the Manage Registrants page. Leave that option unchecked to make the group/team an In-Person Group/Team.

Delete group/team. This option will be greyed out until you have moved everyone out of the group/team first. 

 

Smart Groups allow you to use the information-gathering features of the Custom Report Builder in conjunction with Manage Registrants. Smart Groups are under construction and will need to be created and edited from the Group Manager (old) page in the Event Tools navigation panel on the left.
