Add Waiver Text to My Peer-to-Peer Registration Form

Note: For legal reasons, Peer-to-Peer does not include a default waiver or liability form on registration forms and we do not have sample waivers available. We recommend that you talk with your legal expert about this.

Follow these steps to add your waiver text:

  1. Choose Event Setup in the navigation panel on the left.

  2. Choose Registration Form.

  3. Click the Options button in the top right corner and choose Edit Form Fields.

  4. Find the WAIVER, Waiver Instructions or Waiver Text Here, and WaiverInitials rows and click on the eye icon to “show” those fields on your form. (The fields will show on the form when the eye icon is filled in/black.)

  5. Click on the pencil icon on the Waiver Instructions or Waiver Text Here row.

Type or paste your waiver text in the text editor. *If you want to upload a file or link to a document (recommended if your waiver text is longer than a paragraph or two, or if you want your participants to print/sign the waiver), see our article on uploading a document or linking to a file for more options. 

  2. Make any changes you need to in order to make it look the way you want.

  3. Save your work.

  4. Click Save and Preview to see how it looks.

If you do not need the Waiver section after adding it, you can hide the three waiver fields by following steps 1-4 again (the fields will be hidden on the form when the eye icon is not filled in/white).
