Peer-to-Peer Teams FAQ

Some of the most common questions people ask about Peer-to-Peer Teams.

  • How does someone join a team? Teams in Peer-to-Peer can be created or joined during registration or from the team tab on their fundraising page. The person who creates the team is automatically the captain.

  • Is there a team page? There is no team page, instead, teams are a collection of participant fundraising pages. Each person has a team tab on their own page that shows who is on the team and how much they have raised.

  • Is there a team goal? Goals are only set for individuals, but the total raised by each team member will show in the leaderboard on the event webpage and on the team tab for each team member.

  • Can someone make a donation to a team in general? You cannot make a donation toward a team. You have to donate to someone on the team.

  • Can Team Captains email their team members from their fundraising page? Not at this time, but it is something we are considering for a future release.
