While FundEasy is packed with tools to support your event fundraising—from peer-to-peer campaigns to sponsorships and registration—we want to clarify what’s currently supported when it comes to auctions and raffles.
Raffle Ticket Sales
At this time, FundEasy doesn’t support the sale of raffle tickets. Most payment processors—like Stripe and our previous provider, WePay—consider it a form of gambling, even when it benefits a great cause. We know raffles can be a fun part of events, and many organizations still choose to host them offline or through other means.
If you’re considering a raffle:
You can promote it on your event page.
Collect entries in person or through suggested donations (just not as a ticket purchase).
Auctions
FundEasy doesn’t currently have built-in auction tools, but you can absolutely still host an auction alongside your event! Many organizations use third-party platforms for silent or live auctions and direct participants there from their FundEasy event page.
Common approaches include:
Hosting the auction onsite at your event.
Linking to an external auction platform in your FundEasy event description.
Accepting auction payments outside of FundEasy (e.g. by check or a separate processor).
Fundraising Alternatives That Shine
While raffles and auctions may need to happen outside the platform, FundEasy is full of creative ways to engage supporters:
Peer-to-peer fundraising pages let participants invite others to give toward their personal goal.
Custom registration options make it easy to offer tiered pricing, t-shirts, or meal add-ons.
Sponsorship tools let local businesses get involved and support your mission visibly.
Have a fun idea you’re trying to pull off? Let’s talk it through! Our team is here to help you get the most out of your FundEasy event—while keeping everything secure and compliant for your donors.
