If you're working on your event and you see this error, don't be alarmed!
Our server periodically refreshes, causing it to be temporarily offline. It usually takes about 1-2 minutes for it to complete its cycle so that you can continue working.
When this happens, you may be prompted to log in, but entering your username and password may return an error. This is because the server is unable to detect your credentials while it is completing its cycle. If you continue to log in in quick succession, your account may be temporarily locked due to too many failed attempts. Waiting briefly before making a second attempt will allow you to log in as normal and continue your work. In most cases, resetting your password is not necessary.
The way our server cycles is a function of our current database and this process is triggered more frequently when there is heavy usage of the software. That is why you may see this error more during busy event seasons when many people are logged in.
We know it's frustrating to be interrupted while you're working! The new version of our software (v4) is being built from the ground up on an entirely new database that will not require this type of cycling. We are making every effort to minimize the inconvenience of the server cycles and to get v4 ready for your events as soon as possible! To learn more about v4, please check out our website here.
